Located on the west side of Fethiye Center, the project area has significant potential near the beaches and the river. The project aims to oversee the landscape from all angles and to transform the river slightly to include it in the design.
The conceptual approach for the layout revolves around the contrast between the full and the empty by creating a "horseshoe" shaped courtyard using simple rectangular prisms with voids. Accommodation units are designed as two separate parts functioning alike but are allocated for either all guests or only adult guests, allowing to avoid interaction.
The main building that is the hotel for all guests rests against the road, with six blocks and 300 rooms, while the adult hotel of 2 blocks and 120 rooms is located near the river and a small beach. A neighborhood of villas in share resides in front of both hotels nearer to the seaside. Different combinations of types of villas can allow various typologies in this area. As a result, three villa types are positioned differently each time to create 17 units. The reception is a connective element between the two hotels, a transparent mass with a canopy that forms an inviting entrance. The partial roof serves both as a shading instrument and a signage base.
